Their Names in Lights tiers Top Billing Male Lead Chief ,, ,, , R Sjmnsorx- Mrs. Bernice Hardwicke and Miss Katharine Woodward PM WMD In january, 1945, our high school careers began. We entered R. H. S. as 115 bewildered freshmen. Our freshmen and sophomore years were uneventful as far as class activities were concerned, but that came to an end when we entered our junior year as upper classmen. Our first activity was choosing our class-rings, followed by our first dance which we called Injun Chase. Everyone who had parts in or worked on our junior Play will never forget the fun we had producing Dear Ruth . We climaxed our Junior year with the annual J-Hop which we titled jungle Fantasy . On that wonderful day when we made that balcony our homeroom, we knew we were really Seniors. Under the fine leadership of our class officers, and our class sponsors, Mrs. Hard- wicke and Miss NVoodward, we accomplished many things. XVe had a lot of fun producing You Can't Take It With You as our Senior play, and we'll never forget the work and fun involved in sponsoring Showb0at as the Senior Prom. There were other things on our minds too. After a long battle royal blue and while finally won out as class colors, while while roses were the choice of the class for flowers. lVe decided upon the traditional gray caps and gowns for graduation. We journeyed to Susterka Park for Skip Day, and we'll never forget the fun we had skating, dancing, and hay riding on that really gay day. And so with our high school life completed, we received our diplomas on january 27, and left with our motto, Knowledgeg the foundation of peace , in mind.
