SENIOR BAND The Senior Bands activities are simi- lar to those of Senior Orchestra. The Marching Band makes appearances at athletic contests and in civic parades. The officers in l937-l938 were David Rucker, president: Bill Knapp, secretary: Louis Kovach and Paul Bowersox, stage managers: and William Hardy and Stan- ley Romentowslci, librarians. Drum Ma- jor was Thomas lohnson. Cecelia Vtfro- blewski and Fay Robinson were the sponsorettes. ORCHESTRA The Senior Orchestra, composed of fifty members, presents concerts and gives an annual assembly program. losephine Degtiarick was the presldent in l937-l938. MUSIC -- CHOIR The Choir appears in many of the assernblies throughout the year and al- ways sings at graduation exercises. The members perform without an accom- panist. Community appearances are made at churches and meetings of local clubs.

ART MACHINE SHOP Students in art may work with oils, pastels, water colors, sculpture, or pen and ink. The art classes make the scen- ery tor the plays and decorations tor the dances. They aid in providing ar- tistic advertising for the many extra- curricular activities of the school year. Beginning students start with sheet and scrap metal projects. Advance stu- dents make models ot machines, tools, and clamps in learning the operations of the lathes, milling machines, and other apparatus provided.
