Some ot the busiest people here at Roosevelt are our assistant prin- cipals and our counselors. Their desks are eternally piled high with work but they are always willing to be interrupted in order to lend an ear and a helping hand. The assistant principals, as you can see, are happily endowed to counsel students and encourage them to overcome their problems. The main work of our coun- selors, in this room at the left, is programming. Miss Stevens helps plan the schedules of lovver-semes- ter students and takes charge of standardized and special tests given at Roosevelt. Mr. Myers, in addi- tion to preparing schedules for the upper-semester students, is Chair- man of the College Bureau and handles student iob requests.
