Sportsboosters continued to support the Roosevelt athletic teams through Pep Week, activities of committee members at games, and frequent donations of soft drinks and other refreshments to the players. In addition, they organized two all-school assemblies. The Elections Committee, initiated last year, coordi- nated every election held at Roosevelt. The PTA Dance Committee members, in addition to their advisory work on all dances, organized two them- selves. A new addition to Roosevelt this year was the Special Events Committee, which directed such varied programs as Traditions Week and Homecoming, as well as aiding other committees in vari- ous dances, drives, and presentations.
