Supervisors insure eioncient study. The remodeling of last year's study halls into classrooms and an addition to the library resulted in the relocation of study hall to the freshly painted auditorium with new desks. Supervisors, Mrs. Roys, and Mr. Obrastoff Worked with study checkers to achieve study hallis purpose: that of busi- nesslike study and quiet. Contend- ing with a majority of football players Working as supervisors and a covvbell to call for quiet, stu- dents received tickets for tardi- ness, talking, and eating. Study checkers took attendance, mailed study excuses, and performed other secretarial services. p Study Supervisors-Back row: Bob Sarff, Dave Skone, Steve Gehrig, Bob Argens, Joe Forde, Paul Falchi. Services lend order to the chaos. One of the major results of Roose- veltis remodeling program was the new library, which included many modern facilities. Ticket sales were relocated on the second iloor in the stockroom. The Social Service Committee conducted various drives as well as giving a Christ- mas party for the Orthopedic Hospital. For the first time, Finance Committee allowed sports to divide its own budget instead of designating a certain amount to each area. The Stage Crew's banging while building sets contrasted greatly with the quiet of study hall on the other side of the stage curtain. A view into the new library reveals a quiet and businesslike atmosphere.
