a student participating in a committee . . . Throughout the year, Roosevelt students worked to provide the school with a variety of assemblies. games, plays and other functions. The Assembly Committee strove to plan purposeful and unusual assemblies by basing each one on a particular idea. The Girls' Usher Committee served as hostesses at school functions, and publicized current events. Ticket sales were supervised by the Ticket Force. which also managed the sale and use of the student passes. Vwfith the aid of an IBM system, they were able to check students' roll rooms, pass numbers and other information. Backstage, the Stage Crew operated and arranged the necessary equipment and props. The Costume Committee kept the costume room in order and provided costumes for school productions. Performers were made up for the Senior Play.
