Following its theme, 'AMovin' On, Roosevelt's student government pushed ahead an active and varied program. The ASR was headed by the officers, the cabinet, the advisory council, and the student council. This year. the council provided two new amendments to the Constitution, one establishing the position of Speaker of the Council and the other adding the Speaker of the Council and the Inter-High Executive to the student cabinet. ASR committees carried through projects initiated by the governing bodies. Special committees were established to work at Fircrest, find summer jobs for students, and to paint the activity center.
