They put aside official duties to decorate and furnish new headquarters. Along with the newness of the ASR office came a campaign in Roosevelt- encouraging school spirit through roll room participation. Competition between roll rooms ran high and resulted in larger student rep- resentation at school productions. A mock election, outside traffic control, and Back-to-School Night were several of the activities handled by roll rooms. The ASR olticers and the entire student body make up the Associated Students of Roosevelt. The diagram at the right shows the formation of this organization. The ASR is proud of its democratic form of school gov- ernment. Students and teachers working together to make better citizens characterize the ideals set forth in the little red school house.
