As 'rms year draws to a close, the senior class, of '48, with pleasant memories of the highlights of the past year's activities, leaves the halls of Roosevelt. Starting their class off to a good beginning, the seniors elected as their officers: Bob Erick- son, presidentg Dale Farley, vice-president, Nancy Graham, secretaryg and Nancy Frank- land, treasurer, with Janine Peterson as ASR representative. Sadie Hawkins Daze , the fall senior dance, was held in the lunchroom after school, with Dale Farley in charge of all ar- rangements. The Junior-Senior dance was the outstanding event in March, both classes work- ing together to make the dance a success. One of the highlights of the year's activities, the picnic on june 8 at Vasa Park on Lake Sam- mamish, had Joan Gildemiestcr and Dave Gal- lotte as chairmen. NVorking under them were Mary Ann Larsen and Bill lfaton in charge of publicityg Helen Anderson, ticketsg Kathleen Oliver and Dayle Scott, refreshments, Class Will and Prophecy, Larry Scering and Bob Funkg entertainment, Serena Cole and lletty Dynesg games, Barbara Sampson and Bill Bro- scheg in charge of all general arrangements were Peggy Church and llob Cushen. The climax of the senior activities, anxiously awaited by all graduating seniors, is the senior prom, held this year at the Nile Country Club on June 11. The music was furnished by the Chevaliers.
