iff? ffl Administrotion By Catherine Caraher Editoz'-in-Chief of 1934 Srrenuous Life WHAT A JOY to be an American, with the privilege of sharing the cultural in- fluences of other nations .,.., An unending stream of people came to our country bringing new ideas and principles. These yellow, red, black, and White people were animated by the Spirit of America, and imbued with a great desire to develop in freedom. For that reason they gave great support to each other, and many of them became our most outstanding leaders. We of Roosevelt have had to pay nothing for the generous contributions of our ancestors to My America. However, to those who sacri- ficed their dearest ties to make My America, I am exceedingly grateful .....
