IAS ROGSEIVELT TURNS What do many students have in com- mon with soap stars Joan Collins or Larry Hagman? No, most of us do not have the fame, the power, or the wealth, but we can have evenings out with others. Just as Alexis is with Dex one week and with someone else the next, many of the students alternate dates on a regular basis. This is not entirely true for all, many people are finding 'fMr. or Ms. Righti' and dating them exclusively. How do you know when Cupid had shot his po- tent arrows in your direction and hit your heart dead-center? As one tied- down student explained, HI knew it was right when we got along better than my last boyfriend and I. It's great when two hit it off, but fin- ding that special someone could pose a problem. According to a survey taken in Gctober, guys liked a girl the same age or younger. Oll For many people, high school brings about many changes. Although people and times change, we find that everyone has their own opinion and favorite food, pastime, activities, and likes or dislikes. A survey was conducted to find out about peoples opi- nions and favorites, students as well as teachers. The results were compiled of the survey and were compiled the top five in each category were selected. The survey revealed many interesting and unusual things. A lot of students seemed to think that hat do think? . . . teachers weren't real people. The suwey showed that when they fteachersj were in high school, their favorite weekend activity was basical- ly the same as present day high-schoolers-partying. They also enjoyed dancing as many students do today. Their favorite food differs from students now, their be- ing fried chicken and Mex- ican food, now the preferred is pizza. You think they dress funny? Guess what? They like to shop at North Star Mall too! I guess students now aren't too different from teachers afterall. New Wave? As with all things, different opinions will always be expressed. When students, as well as teachers, were asked about New-Wave, there were many op- posite reactions. Some people like it, and of course, others donit. Natasha Mosier thinks that New-Wave is the greatest thing to hit S.Af' On the other hand, when Stephanie Small was asked about New-Wave, she said no-commentf' So, several people were asked what they thought of New- Wave, and these were some of their reactions . . . Mr. Goldstucker - I like it! Opinions Kelly Hanko Mrs. Hennesy- I try not to think of them. Mr. LaGrone- I don't put that stuff in my hair. ll 'i l 'Q I i i A. i
