Clubs study foreign culture This year the Spanish Club, along with the Spanish Honor Society, visited a children's home during the Christmas holidays. They handed out lots of gifts and candy to the surprised youngsters. Other activities of the clubs were the yearly field trip to a border town, and the end-of-year picnic. 1.Argie Krohn presents two dead bread men to her class. 2. M u Alpha Theta sponsors contest With the help of sponsors Barbara Leurson, Martha Cadena, Juliana Strain, and Ronald E. Bird, the Mu Alpha Theta Club sold baked goods and biorhythms. The money that club members raised helped pay for their end of the year spring banquet and awards ceremony. Club members also participated in math con- tests, and they created math tests given to all levels of math students. High scoring students received plaques and certificates for their achievements. 1.
