Beta Club aids staff in producing Outlook Beta Club, the English Honor Society, has more than thirty members. Each member is required to have an A average in English and a B overall average. The clubs major project was working with the English and Publications departments to produce the OUTLOOK. Club members screened poetry, literature, prose, and art. They selected those to be included in the literaryfart mag- azine. 1. President Ann O'Connor speaks to club members during a meeting. 2. M u Alpha Theta sponsors contest With the help of sponsors Barbara Leurson, Martha Cadena, Juliana Strain, and Ronald E. Bird, the Mu Alpha Theta Club sold baked goods and biorhythms. The money that club members raised helped pay for their end of the year spring banquet and awards ceremony. Club members also participated in math con- tests, and they created math tests given to all levels of math students. High scoring students received plaques and certificates for their achievements. 1.
