Whether sitting in the cafeteria, library or courtyards, or attending practices of one kind or another, students almost always could find something to do before school. Parking became more of a problem this year. Too few spaces and too many cars made many students resort to parking in ...K , Q Wendy's and Windsor Park Mall lots. Mor- dred Street was declared a No Parking - Tow Away Zone, forcing some students to come a little earlier to find an empty space. Meeting friends in the morning was some- times the best part of the day, since conver- sations were unaffected by worries about classwork. Groups of friends eventually found their own places to stand or sit - or both -inthe mornings. During football season, band members practiced formation on the field as football players hustled to improve their game. Patri- ots rehearsed routines in anticipation of half- time performances. After school, students could be seen in a mad rush to catch buses home. Parking lot exits were snarled by networks of cars all trying to get out at the same time. And someone always could be heard at his locker, mumbling complaints about homework, only to come back the next day to repeat the whole procedure. -sy x 1 Filled parking lot demonstrates the over-population of cars at TB. 2 Waiting for buses home consumed much of every afternoon for some students. .
