In almost every store, Roosevelt students could be seen working at jobs from sell- ing shoes at Baker's to scoop- ing ice cream at O'Bannon's. Almost everything imagina- ble could be purchased at The Mall. A majority of the stores in Windsor Park sold clothing. Casual Corner, Fashion Conspiracy, Village Casuals, Lerners, the Swirl, J. l-larris, Bonnie and Clyde's, the Limited and Foxmoor's offered the female population a wide assortment of the latest 1 Ginney Kinney helps Joske's customer 2 Landscape workers pre pare courtyard for opening. 3 Lynn Trimble serves food at Chick Fil A 4 Steve Biancardi, Scott Ford and Eddie Charles make up the produc tion line at Burger Country. fashions. For those who wanted to create their own look, a So-Fro fabric store was located downstairs by one of the two fountains. Shoes could be found in every imaginable style in such stores as the Shoe Box, Baker's, the Wild Pair and Chandlers. For the fashion conscious male, Satel's, Pate's, Frank Brothers and D.J. Jrs. provided the clothes needed to be up with the times. Bonnie and Clyde's featured the off-beat look for the man seeking to be different. Tuxedos in a myriad of dif- ferent styles and colors for the prom could be rented at Gingiss. The one piece of clothing so dear to everyone's wardrobe, a pair of blue jeans, could be pur- chased in one of the many places. House of Jeans, Pants South, County Seat, John's Jeans and Jeans West specialized in the Levi's or Wran- gler uniform. The red, yellow, green, or white cot- ton pants popular during the spring were snatched up by members of both sexes at any one of these places along with the matching shirts. At any given time, students at the mall could be seen munching out on anything from the pretzels of Swiss Pretzels to the pizza of Luca's to the roast beef sandwiches of Arby's. Sit-down food could beleaten at Wyatt's, King Wah and Mr. Dun- derbak's1 Confectionery delights from the Nut- house, Russell Stover's and Tiffany's Bakery tan- tallzed shoppers and tested their will power.
