School something special to all Be you student, teacher or parent, the school year held some special meaning to you To seniors, school meant exemptions in all classes, the term paper, football games, the prom and most of all, graduation. For juniors there were senior rings and the thought of only one more year. Sophomores were thankful they were not freshmen anymore. And freshmen were glad to be in high school although they still had three more years to endure. Onthefacuhyswe,schoolwas19Odayscomeram,deeLsnowcwshme.Teachem had papers to grade, tests to give and progress reports to sign. For coaches, school held the winning spirit and district hopes. Of course administrators had skip-outs to catch, smoking areas to relocate, PA systems to repair and, in general, a school to run For parents, PTA meetings, plays, concerts and athletic events filled spare hours. Yet school mostly meant anticipation and anxiety for all.
