Jacobo Palafox, of Mexico, likes San Antonio because the weather reminds him of his home in Saltillo. Having toured all over Mexico, Jacobo's hobby is fo go places he has never been before.

ELIZA- BETH arrived in San Antonio from Bolivia lSouth Amer- ical speaking only a few English words such as: hello, goodbye, yes, and no, but when she returned home after a year at Rough Rider Country, I x l i, i it i ,,s i it ,. L, f if f ',' LVL fix: i V ,:.- , xv. she could both understand and speak a surprising amount of the language. Her main worry in leaving Roosevelt was that everything in Bolivia would seem different, and she had to admit she would miss TR. Dur- ing her stay at Roosevelt, ELIZABETH was a member of AFS, French Club, and Spanish Honor Society. More than this however, she was a well-loved member of the student body.

Sharon expresses a liking for San Antonio, however she hopes to return to her native Korea next year. ll. 1 gl! f Having lived in Libya, Mary Lowry says that Americans aren't as nice as the people abroad, however she feels that the U.S. is much cleaner than the countries overseas.
