After mastering the basics of grammar and pronunciation, French students concentrated on reading and Writing in Mrs. Helen Pigott's class. In the classes of Miss Dot DePricst and Mrs. Helen Friedli, students learned to speak Spanish. In Mrs. Carolyn Smith's classes the students learned the art of speaking German. The Latin students, under Mrs. Marlene Treanor, obtained a better knowledge of their own English vocabulary, as well as Latin.
