Board Meets Hard-Fought Goals Faced with a critical bond issue plus major changes in both curriculum and length of school, the Board of Trustees met its challenge and succeeded in its goal of maintaining excellence in education, while constantly striving to increase relevancy. Dr. Fitzwater was elected Vice-President of the new Texas Association of Suburban Schools, ajoint consoli- dation of school district administrators.

Principal Morrow was assisted by three men in the administrative department during the school year. Mr. Boyd Vaughn, Assistant Principal Instructional Services handled all matters relating to curriculum and class scheduling. Sewing as Assistant Principal for Student Services was Mr. A1 Sturchio who coordinated all student ac- tivities and handled arising problems in the student body. Chaos: A School Without Secretaries The bustling secretarial staff of RRC helped to keep our school of 2500 students running smoothly.
