Numerical order Numerical order was what math was all about. English grows Gaining two new teachers, the English department grew to seventeen. Irene Dossier, who shared her activities between English and French, taught three sections in the fall, then switched to two ninth grode sections in winter. Marilyn Christian-Pieper ran a daily marathon, teoching one class at Washburn and the rest at RHS, but that changed winter tri when she became a full time Teddie. Jean Johnstad became the coordinator of the International Baccalaureate program but continued to teach two sections of English. Gene Lohman tought the IB course offered to juniors. Science gains two Two new feathers joined the science department. Noncy Quint came to RHS late lost year, too late for yearbook coverage, and Michelle Marty joined the foculty last fall shortly after school opened. Quint taught the CBS science courses and Marty taught biology. The rest of the foculty remained the same with students offered both required courses such as science and biology and electives like chemistry ond physics as well os floriculture, horticulture ond greenhouse management.
