English grows Gaining two new teachers, the English department grew to seventeen. Irene Dossier, who shared her activities between English and French, taught three sections in the fall, then switched to two ninth grode sections in winter. Marilyn Christian-Pieper ran a daily marathon, teoching one class at Washburn and the rest at RHS, but that changed winter tri when she became a full time Teddie. Jean Johnstad became the coordinator of the International Baccalaureate program but continued to teach two sections of English. Gene Lohman tought the IB course offered to juniors.
