New Seats, No Seats Hosring rhe 1984 Homecoming show were Chuck Anderson ond Kris Robertson. The “Fruitloop choir'' with Greg Wright. Mike Wossmund, Dovid Wolker. Tim Rovo ond Mike Schmidt, singing rhe song ’‘Daddy Song Boss,” wos only one of rhe many featured acts of rhe evening. Although rhe new seors were not in the bolcony yet in rime for rhe show, this did nor stop students from attending. The highlight of rhe evening come when returning King Tom Nelson ond Queen Maryann Ohorro teased the crowd for what seemed like oges before they finally ploc-ed rhe crowns on the heads of Rick Bonesreel ond Jenny Thompson. Adding some culture ond elegance to the show, Dohlio Abou Senno. o foreign exchange student from Cairo, Egypt, performed one of her native dances. Loo students also performed a native dance. The next morning seniors dragged themselves our of bed to be or rhe breakfast by 6:00 a.m. at Vikings Village to gear themselves up for rhe big gome ogainsr Washburn.
