Teddie spirir was displayed in many other ospecrs than jusr rhe classroom. Sonne srudenrs chose ro represent Roosevelt by joining on athletic reom. Students nor parriaparing on teams showed their support for those who did. Other groups throughout rhe school practiced jusr as athletic reams did ro show their school spirir. This practice added to rhe many performances in Roosevelr's programs. Solid Gold has been one of Television's top syndicated shows since 1978. Included in this musical variety show are talented artists, the popular music of today, ond comedy. Within the halls and classrooms of Roosevelt, students and teochers alike create a solid gold atmosphere similar to that of the show. Throughout the year, Roosevelt gold shines with academics, sports, music, dance, acting, ond the shored laughter of friends working in these oreas.
