Tally Day Students who had early tally had no problem with closed classes, but the students with last tally often ran into difficulties and had to rearrange their schedules or take other classes than originally planned. College-bound students already have first hand knowledge of the perils of tally registration. Tally Day 29

A welcome addition to Roosevelt's lunchroom is the salad bar. The popularity of salad bars is on the increase, and so it seemed natural to bring them into the school system. Not only does a salad present a very nutritional meal, but students love them. The selection of salad toppings is numerous and the price is reasonable. The opening of the salad bar confirms the tact that the school board cares about more than just the students' educational needs. 28 Th« Salad Bar
