Winning ... is what you're out to do. It takes a good coaching staff, a decent playing field, and a lot of dedication and spirit. Having a team that will work hard together for one common team goal, not 22 different ones. Winning is more fun in the sense that you want to win for your school, your team, and yourself. It's a good feeling. Winning is the result of hard work. When the guys have fun and are satisfied with the season, winning is great, 'cause that's what it's all about. 23

Goal line stand Losing is awful. The losses, the ones where the coaches jump on your back for the mistakes you've made are the worst. It's bad going back to school after a 52-8 loss. It's heartbreak not to get what you set out for. The season just wasn't as good as it should have been. Losing is just not trying hard enough. 24
