O-hour was eliminaTed and, aTTer breakTasT, decoraTed cars jammed The sTreeTs, giving our neighbors The news ThaT Homecoming T966 had come To RoosevelTl The 8:30 pep TesT and Tlag raising were highlighTed by The appearance oT our exciTed Homecoming royalTy. Then Trom ouT oT The WesT came The Cowboys To capTure The Teds. During This pep TesT Super Ted succeeded in PuTTing WesT To ResTl AT The morning audiTorium all eyes waTched as Sandy Elling and Tom Page were crowned king and queen by lasT year's royal couple, Marne RousT and Bob Larsen. The coronaTion was Tollowed by enTerTainmenT: Tumbling, juggling, dancing, and music. ATTer school The bleachers rapidly Tilled Tor The dedicaTion oT The TooTball Tield To AI Gowans. The game began in an aTmosphere oT emo- Tion and ended merrily, wiTh The Teds winning 49-7. Every RoosevelT player making a Touchdown received a box oT WheaTies, complimenTs oT The ConciliaTrix Hi-Y group. To cap oTT The day, Teds danced To The music oT The Poorboys.
