. that is our aim. Seniors Roosevelt High School students sing “Onward to Victory and aim for victory and success in all school and life adventures. They are realistic enough to know, however, that not all victories win tangible rewards. More important than material treasure is the joy found through living a rich and wholesome life—one resulting from individual effort. Graduating from high school isn’t the end, it is only the beginning; it is the beginning of a new and challenging experience—adult life. As an adult, it will be up to each individual to move onward, aiming in the direction that will bring him closest to his goals and his rewards.

Besides the morning routine of taking attendance, reading notices, and signing absent slips. homeroom advisers assist students in planning programs which will satisfy all graduation requirements. Homeroom teachers and their advisees remain together during the three years of high school. As a member of this smaller group, students find security, while still remaining a part of Roosevelt’s large student body. 704 Seniors mode up the Graduation Class of 1960.
