Blue Tri Adviser: Miss Habcrman Blue Tri Officers: Erickson. Butler. S. Nelson. Hagen. Mills. Blue Tri Blue Tri, that’s for me, exclaim all senior girls who wish to belong to an organization whose main goal is to strengthen citizenship and become better friends to all. This high school organization is a branch of the V. W. C. A. and is made up of four chapters. The individual chapters meet once every other week at different girls' homes. Under the guidance of Miss Haberman, the club meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, and the cabinet meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month here at Roosevelt. During the fall the Blue Tri sponsored the first dance of the year—the all favorite Sock Hop. At this memorable dance a contest is held in which a guy and gal with the most novel socks are awarded a prize. Besides this first event they also sponsored Cupid's Capers, a Valentine Dance. Other projects were selling teddy bears to Roosevelt students, presenting a Christmas Program at the Citizen’s Club as a service project, setting up a booth at the International Fair, portraying the country of Greece, and playing a Bottom row: Bcrgquist.
