The chairmen act as presiding officers and they keep order in Roosevelt's many study hails. The secretaries keep the attendance records. This year John Lee was in charge of all the study halls. Office Staff This staff keeps busy each day in 104, the student council office, typing notices and bulletins. Among their other duties they are in charge of the lost and found and various collections taken during the year. John Conda is in charge of the council office. The Ethics Committee Retains Law and Order Engdahl, Steiner, Higgins, Haberlcom, Stevens. Student Council The Student Council is the foundation of all Roosevelt's student government. The Board of Governors, Ethics Committee. Council Office Staff, and the Lunchroom Staff help the Student Council direct student government. One representative and one alternate are chosen from each homeroom to serve on the council. The three major events of the school year— Homecoming, Winter Sports Day, and the Spring Dance—are sponsored by the active council.
