Although this club was organized quite a few years ago, this year they have taken on a new name, I-Iigh Crusader, better known as I-Ii. C. Their purpose is to present Christianity as foundation for Christian character and liv- ing. Membership is open to all high school boys and girls. Instead of the usual Mothers' Day Tea, this year the members sponsored a Mothers' and Dads' Reception. Besides the club's own social activities, members are eligible for, and have taken part in, city-wide activities such as week end retreats, work shops, formal and informal banquets, and other activities which provide Christian fellowship. Hanson. worked on a project for the Heart Hospital and also went caroling. At one meeting a group ot college men from the University came and discussed the problems ot dating with the girls. At another very interesting meeting a hair dresser trom Charles ot the Ritz came and gave the girls tips on how to make their hair more attractive. He demon- strated by styling a tew ot the girls' hair. One ot the main teatures this year was the IOOth Year International Fair which is Publicity Committee in Action Walling. Winick, Cecka. held every year. Each school has a booth ot a ditterent country. This year Roosevelt had the Japanese booth where they sold tigu- rines. A dance was held atter the tair at the HY. ln one ot the later meetings a Japanese lady named Yako spoke on her country. This year the club has had many interest- ing programs and has carried out many ac- tivities. The club has been divided into chapters one, two, three, and tour. Each individual chapter meets in the evening at one ot the girls' homes, usually once every other weelc, while a meeting is held at school tor all the chap- ters iust once a month. This year Blue Tri's tirst event started with the Recognition Dinner held on the evening ot November lo, I954 at the downtown building ot Y.W.C.A. The banquet was very impressive to all who attended. During the tootball season the girls had their own toot- ball game.
