As a reward for their daily rehearsals, they had the pleas- ure ot presenting two successful concerts, one at Christmas and the other in the spring. ln addition to this, other singing engagements were accepted, including an evening performance at the Nicollet Hotel, a noon concert at the Farmers and Mechan- ics Bank, and, ot course, music tor the an- nual all school pre-Easter service. Besides all these, the choir sang for baccalaureate and commencement. Climaxing the whole season was the trip to Chicago, with en- gagements in Milwaukee, Great Lakes Naval Training Station, and in the city of Chicago itself. Row 'l: R. Johnson, Ohno, D. The Sagamore In room 214 there is a small group ot students who plod steadily toward a com- mon goal. They work for one hour each day to complete the Sagamore. The stu- dents ot Roosevelt entrust many ot their high school memories to this staff. Their earnestness is illustrated by the fact that they often work during tree time to com- plete assignments on time. One seldom sees statt members or hears ot them until that day in May when the new, clean Sagamores are delivered. Ev- So What's With These Guys? Standing: Hendrickson, Emery, Hall.
