The purpose ot the club is to give Spanish students a better un- derstanding ot the people they are studying. Members meet on the second Wednesday ot each month. Last tall the club had an initiation party tor all prospective members. It also had the Christmas party, the traditional pinata. The Spanish pinata is hung trom the ceiling and tilled with goodies. A blind-tolded person with a sticlc must then break the pinata and release the candy, truits, and nuts tor every- one to enjoy.
