They are study hall chairmen, secretaries, and period chiefs. Once a week a meeting is held to discuss any problems which may have arisen in the study halls. Mr. Strandjord keeps a watchful eye on our study halls. Members of the Court Noblese Oblegen is the motto ot the Senior Honor Society which was organized in l925. The club pin is a blazing torch which symbolizes the light ot lcnowledge. The club advisers are Miss McCradie and Mr. Palm- quist who are counselors at Roosevelt. To become a member of this organization a student must maintain a scholarship average ot 2.3 during the tenth and eleventh grades, have an excellent character, have the ability ot leadership, and have a willingness to serve the school. At the semi-annual initiation the newly chosen members are sworn into the Na- tional Honor Society. Once each year the club members participate in an outstanding educational trip. This trip may include a visit at some college. On May 25 the Honor Society members tlew to Rochester, Minn., and were guests ot the Chamber ot Commerce.
