Don't be alarmed, it's only the Sagamore statt gone western to present glimpses ot Roosevelt l-ligh as the Teddy Roosevelt Ranch. The Sagamore, Roosevelt yearbook, is published annually by the June graduating class. The stati enjoyed presenting the ranch and hopes that you too will get much en- joyment trom wandering through its various sections. Mr. l-larvey Wagner is the new adviser. The drawings used in presenting the ranch were made by art students under the direction ot Mrs. Cattron. Olson, Tingvold, Hol A n, Akre, Wales, Smith Student Council Makes Rancb laws Student-government is a very important factor of life at the Roosevelt Ranch. l-lere all ranch hands have a voice in the way they are to be governed and the rules they are to obey. Rolf Andreassen, president of the Student Council, and Mr. Lundin, its adviser, have cirected the Council's many activities, and the various committees have carried them out most successfully. Students wave talcen over the governing of study halls and the supervision of lunch hour recreation as well as many other functions. The SunlightCommittee ofthe Student Council worlcs with the clubs presenting the Sunlight dances to help malqe them a suc- cess. Another important group, the Banking Committee, has re- vived interest in school banlcing by placing bankers in each home room. Outstanding students in jour- nalism may apply tor membership in Quill and Scroll tor which there are special pins. The Standard statt meets daily, the literary statt during the tourth period, and the business statt during the titth period.
