Olson, Tingvold, Hol A n, Akre, Wales, Smith Student Council Makes Rancb laws Student-government is a very important factor of life at the Roosevelt Ranch. l-lere all ranch hands have a voice in the way they are to be governed and the rules they are to obey. Rolf Andreassen, president of the Student Council, and Mr. Lundin, its adviser, have cirected the Council's many activities, and the various committees have carried them out most successfully. Students wave talcen over the governing of study halls and the supervision of lunch hour recreation as well as many other functions. The SunlightCommittee ofthe Student Council worlcs with the clubs presenting the Sunlight dances to help malqe them a suc- cess. Another important group, the Banking Committee, has re- vived interest in school banlcing by placing bankers in each home room. Council representatives from each home room lceep the stu- i dents informed as to the actions and decisions of this body. l:19:l

The Sagamore, Roosevelt yearbook, is published annually by the June graduating class.
