Roberson Rough Writer staff offers printed paper. Jo Anne Kozlowski and Tim Simpson kept the area well informed through the Hammond Times weekly “Youth Pages.” This year the Rough Writer dazzled everyone with its pictures and articles. Many facets of RHS life were explored in the newspaper. A distinctive feature was “Dear Olea,” our answer to Ann Landers, who offered solutions to unusual problems. “Showboat’s Sports” gave a fresh slant to Roosevelt's athletic achievements. Pro- ducing a good newspaper was a lot of work, just ask any of the staff members. Under the direction of Mrs. Kon- koly, they realized the steps required in producing a great newspaper. The diligence of the editor, staff members, and sponsor contributed to the paper's success. The 1967- 1968 Rough Writer reaped its rewards through student support. This support reflected the pride the students had in the Rough Writer. Staff members confer with editor.
