White fl Future Homemakers emphasize self-improvement Personal growth was the aim of the Future Home- makers of America. Each meeting focused on a different aspect of the role of wife and mother. Discussions on current clothing trends gave the members a new insight to the problem of finding the proper garment for the occasion. This assembly showed how a versatile wardrobe could be sewed at a fraction of the retail cost. Senior Girl Counselors enjoy breakfast Jamie pours tea for Miss Winters. sandwich, milk, and maybe an apple eaten in the RHS auditorium provided the scenery and props for a typical get-together for a Girl Counselor and her “little sister.” These lunch time gatherings aimed at helping seventh grade girls adjust to RHS life. Two parties were given for the little sisters, one at Christmas, complete with Santa Clause giving presents. An Easter parade, where the senior big sisters. modeled hats they made, was the second party. The junior Girl Counselors gave a farewell breakfast for the senior Girl Counselors. The pouring of hot coffee was the major sound effect at a Girl Counselor tea, where parents talked with teachers over coffee and cookies. This organization is the oldest at RHS; it has given its services for 43 years Three little sisters meet with their big sister.
