Science clubs solve mysteries of life. Roosevelt's Science clubs represented both the junior and senior high levels. The Junior Science Club, spon- sored by Mr. Bork, worked on projects relative to biol- ogy. They centered projects around plant and animal life. The Senior Science Club members, under the direction of Mr. Marsh, did experiments on light diffusion and mutations of white mice. Working with precise scientific instruments, the members learned about the complex aspects of science. The science clubs represented Roose- velt at the annual area science fair in April, held at the Hammond Civic Center. Junior Science Club: Row 1, L. Barbar, E. Ortiz, K. Sam- ples, L. Balog,.
