All of us at Roosevelt High are justly proud of the fine record of achievement of the football team dating back to the middle of the l944 season. This phenominal success is the result of an excellent program of physical education coupled with a fine spirit of co-operation and loyalty on the part of the pupils, the faculty, and the many Roosevelt Boosters. l would like to bid farewell to the Class of 1948 with the words of Disraeli . . .
