GUS RICO, President Class of '46 SO MANY WORLDS. SO MUCH TO DO. TODAY, we are high school Seniors: tomorrow--we assume our roles as mature men and women. Our theme, our driving force, will be our goal to become leaders in this world's future. Now the world is a tumultuous scene of political conflicts, instigated by the uncertainty of economic instability. Will these same conditions defeat our efforts? Our job. the task of youth everywhere, is not to succumb to the committed errors of the past, but rather to be progressive in thought, and ever to change our future--our tomor- row. Shall we succeed? Yes, we will, because we must. This is not a determinist's world: it is a living world in which we, as an inalienable right, have the power to de- termine. The coming tomorrow is ours. There- in lies the incentive for us, the Seniors of Roosevelt High School, to make of it what we wish it to be.
