CLASS HISTORY As eughth graders, luttle dud we realuze that we were stortung our class hustory We elected Carol Belknap presudent Berlue Smuth, vuce presudent Paula Hernley, secretary, and Bob Tonner treasurer Mary Jane Capponu and Bob Tonner were class kung and queen Roosevelt Hugh opened wude uts doors and ushered un many new members from Brady Lake and St Patruck s for our class An all boy slate composed our freshman offucers Muke Casamento was elected presudent, Bob Tonner, vuce presudent, Duck Frutz, secretary, and Duck Dennus, treasurer A Valentune dance and a pucnuc un the sprung were our actuvutues Barbara Bradfueld and Bob Mans fueld were class kung and queen Dawn Thompson represented us un the homecomung court At last we were upperclassmen, and many clubs welcomed our members Duck Frutz, presudent, made the rules, Barbara Bradfueld, vuce presudent, helped carry them out, and Mary Jane Capponu, secretary treasurer, kept our books Mary Jane was our homecomung attendant A dance and puc nuc un the sprung completed our Sophomore year, and furmly convunced us that we were on our way A wonderful Junuor Senuor Prom was our mcuun aum as lunuors and to guide us we chose Steve treasurer Our aum was fulfulled, under the patuent guudance of Mr Robert Hensel The prom was held at the Lake Forest Country Club un Hudson and was followed by a theater party, mudnught supper, and dancung at the Elk s Club We certaunly had Moments to Remember ln March, fuve of our class were unducted unto Honor Socuety Barbara Bradfueld Carol Bel knap, Steve Spangler, Kurt Luske, and Bob Tonner Kurt Luske and Mandy Kauser were chosen by the teachers as members to Boys and Gurls States Mary Jane Capponu, for the second year, rep resented us un the homecomung court Now we were senlors and could relax Relax'7 Who were we kuddung'7 We faced a more hectuc year than ever To complete our record of always havung boy presudents durung our hugh school years, Ray Lubelsku was chosen leader of the class of T957 Second un rank came Norma Parker, vuce presudent, followed by Barbara Bradfueld, secretary, and Janet Apley, treasurer Lendung a helpung hand was a Senuor Councul composed of Ken Bluss, Barbara Noble, Kay Poole, and Gwunn Quesenberry A Rough Ruder staff under Dawn Thompson, editor, and her assistant, Judy Vuncent, was or ganuzed Reugnung over the homecomung un the fall was Barbara Bradfueld, our queen, and her senuor attendants, Down Thompson, Mary Jane Capponu, and Duane Leek ln February we enloyed a lovely Senuor Guest and as our stay at R H S draws to a close w look forward to recognutuon assembly Baccalaureate, and Commencement We know that as we march down the ausle we can look back on our hugh school days wuth pleasure and forward to the future wuth eagerness 25 I .
