Hi Y Queen 49 BDOSTER CLUB The purpose of the Booster Club is to boost school activities, promote school spirit, and exemplify high ideals. Each member tries to earn 100 points by helping teachers, attending games and dances, making and sell ing shakers, selling Booster pencils, decorating boards and the goal posts and doing many other things of this type. If a member earns 100 points, she is able to at- tend the Booster Private in the spring. Highlighted activities this year were the Booster Tea, Thanksgiving proiect, Christmas proiect and caroling, Y-Teen-Booster Dinner, Senior Booster Moth er Daughter Banquet, Booster picnic and assembly and the Booster Private. Having completed the marching season by beating all opponents, the band, under the direction of Mr. Lester Eckart, plunged readily into concert season. After many long and tedious hours of practice, the bond presented its very enioyable annual Spring con- cert and went to contest. With the help of the Band Patrons the band held its yearly Tag Day and sold Lon- don's candy during the Christmas season, the proceeds from the two projects went toward the buying of new instruments.
