Mr. Cheshire stresses a point in his World History Class. The students listen attentively; they know they will have to use this information — on an exam. Social Studies There is a four year sequence course in Social Studies beginning with a world civilization course on the freshmen level and climaxed with an American problems class in the senior year. Certainly no-one can deny that to grasp the world problems that face us today one must have a firm grip on the happenings of the past. With this in mind, the teachers of the Social Studies department strive to help the students not only understand the past but also prepare for the future.
