Treasurer DOROTHY RATLIFF Ranger Editor The 1952-1953 Student Council has had a busy and progressive year. The Fall Council, under the leadership of President-elect Vernon Marshall, who later resigned and was succeeded by Dick Allen, tackled several large projects and completed them successfully. Probably the most important one was the revision of the constitution of the student body of Roosevelt High School. Dick supervised while the Council worked very hard; after much labor the Constitution was presented to the student body to be voted on. Another highlight of this Council was the distribution of Jamboree tickets. Several new plans, including a car caravan from Roosevelt to the stadium, were initiated. The Teddy Fair, entitled Out of This World , was another responsibility of the Council, and to promote it. on the day before the carnival, the whole Council dressed in fantastic costumes and wore them all day in school. The spring Council, headed by President Dick Pottratz, has busied itself with small details which, put together, made for large improvements. Some of these improvements are, having a telephone booth installed in the new wing and supervising Ted Teen Times.
