The Riders did surprisingly well by winning the pre-season tournament at Visalia with Chuck Leim- bach and Cody Landers earning berths on the all-tourney team. The medium-sized Riders cooled off, however, showing a slight weakness away from home by losing four games away to three losses on their own hardwood.
