In our senior year, Mr. Ioseph Deeten and Mr. Wiley Hudson replaced Mr. Gordon Wilson, who entered the armed forces, and Mr. Barker, who became vice-principal of the junior high school. ln l94l, our junior year, the class chose smart green senior sweaters with white em- blems. It was in this year, also, that the class rings were chosen. One of the most important functions of this year was the presentation of the junior play, Young April. The proceeds from the play were used for the Iunior-Senior Prom, which was the first to be held in the gymnasium, and for senior activities. The first project of the senior year was the presentation of the senior play, The Satur- day Evening Ghost, The baccalaureate services for the lanuary class were held in the First Methodist Church with Rev. W. P. Rankin officiating. The Commencement exercises for this class were held in the Fresno Memorial Auditorium.
