Two very successful dances were sponsored by the class in this year. In 1939, our junior year, the class chose smart green senior sweaters with gold emblems. It was in this year, also, that the class rings were chosen. One of the most important functions of this year was the presentation of the Iunior Farce, On the Bridge at Midnight. The proceeds from the play were used for the Iunior-Senior Prom, which was held at the Marigold Ballroom, and for senior activities. The first project of the senior year was the presentation of the Senior Play, Abie's Irish Rose, The Baccalaureate services for the Ianuary Class were held at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ioseph M. Ewing officiating. The Commencement ex- ercises for this class were held in the Fresno Memorial Auditorium. Iack Allen Berdine Henriksen PIOYCI Sloan Goehring FEBRUARY GRADUATES ORGE E.
