Now this large class is leaving its Alma Mater and is ready to travel on through life, This is the time for us graduates to reminisce a little and see just what we have accom- plished during the time that we have struggled through each passing year. As sophomores, our class seemed rather insignificant, but it wasn't long, with the help of our able sponsors, Mr: I. E. jones, Mrs. Leta Puckett, Mr. Norvel Caywood, and Miss Ger- trude Stubblefield, before the class of '39 was going places, Many successful school dances were sponsored by the class, and the junior play, Skidding will be remembered as a huge success as will the senior play, Seven Keys to Baldpatef' Our- Iunior-Senior Prom was one to be rememered by all who attended. It was in our junior year that the class of '39 showed its school spirit by being the first class to choose the school colors, green and gold, for its class sweater. It was in this year, also, that the class chose its rings. The baccalaureate services for the Ianuary class were held at the First Congregational Church with Dr. Norman D. Henderson officiating. The commencement exercises for this class were held in the Fresno Memorial Auditorium.
