AMERICA FIELD SERVICE AFS Officers: J. Goldman, Treasurer, 1. Yerger, President, R. Masur, Vice-President, P. Kamens, Secretary. Never before has the Roosevelt Chapter of the American Field Service, our foreign exchange student organization, been so active in so many areas of international en- deavor. Under a new constitution, the structure of the A.F.S. provides for an elected nucleus of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are the officers and the heads of the committees, in addition to a general assembly which includes all students who wish to work on the six A.F.S. committees. Under this democratic system, the A.F.S. works to obtain host families for our exchange students, publicize the organization in the school and community, raise money through an annual sticker drive, and organize social events in honor of our visiting student.
