GENERAL ORGANIZATION The General Organization is the coor- dinating, governing and financing body for school activities. Decisions are made by the four student officers, the two fac- ulty supervisors, and the G.O, council, which consists of two boys and girls elect- ed from each class. They must approve all school functions as Well as determine the distribution of G.O. funds for trophies, school letters, sports, and clubs. In addition, the G.O. operates the non- profit G.O. store. Here, students can con- veniently purchase school supplies. One of this year's major accomplish- ments was the initiation of an Inter-City G.O. Council. This group includes repre- sentatives from each of the five Yonkers high schools. Its purpose is to establish a united student voice in the city and to bring the schools together through mu- tual activities. Mrs. Quinlan and Bruce Volpe check the books
